About the Artist

I have always loved glass.  My earliest memory of being drawn to glass was at Disneyland where they had artists making Disney characters with the torch.  All forms of glass seem to appeal, from stained glass to crystal.  Two years ago a friend asked me to take a fused glass class with her.  I've been hooked since.  There is something about the alchemy of fire and light in glass that entices me to keep exploring with it.
 
I am based in the Portland area, and I  do several sales in the summer and during the winter holiday season. This past summer, one of my pieces was awarded "Honorable Mention" from the Tualatin Art Splash juried art show.
